Day 1- Atlanta & Montgomery (155 miles)
Pick up your motorhome and head into the state of Alabama and its capital Montgomery. Visit Jefferson Davis’ Confederate White House and Old Alabama Town.
Day 2- Mobile (185 miles)
Make a stop in Mobile, Alabama on your drive towards New Orleans.
Day 3- New Orleans (160 miles)
Welcome to the birthplace of Jazz – New Orleans. Explore the French Quarter with lively bars and wonderful restaurants, and be sure to catch some live music and street bands.
Day 4- Jackson (180 miles)
Head north towards ‘Elvis Town’ and break up the journey with a stop in Jackson, Mississippi where you can visit The Old Capitol, Governor’s Mansion and the Capitol Building.
Day 5- Tupelo (160 miles)
Take the scenic Natchez Trace bound for Tupelo, Elvis Presley’s birthplace and hometown where you can visit a museum dedicated to his life.
Day 6- Memphis (110 miles)
Drive through Holly Springs National Forest to Memphis where you’ll stay within walking distance of Graceland, Elvis Presley’s famous home. Visits to the Civil Rights Museum, Sun Studios and Beale Street are also recommended.
Day 7- Nashville (230 miles)
Arrive in Nashville – the home of country music! Be sure to visit major attractions such as the Grand Ole Opry, Country Music Hall of Fame and the Jack Daniel’s Distillery, located in Lynchburg.
Day 8- Chattanooga (140 miles)
Head south to Chattanooga and visit Lookout Mountain, Ruby Falls, the Southern Belle Riverboat and the Tennessee Aquarium.
Day 9- Depart Atlanta (130 miles)
Drive around two hours back to Atlanta where you will return your vehicle and conclude your journey.
